    OK!!! Date is NOW set to Sunday 16th December, this should be a free day for all right???
    We will be cruising to the King-Lake Twisties and surrounding areas, absolutely magnifecent run. On the way back through Eltham, we will stop at an excellent Middle Eastern Restaurant called Maroush for dinner. Starting point will be announced shortly prior to launch.
    Start at 4pm, cruise till around 7pm and start dinner by 7.30pm.
    Price at the moment is $50 per head.

    This price includes:
    An all you can eat banquet of the best quality and tasting Lebanese food in Australia.
    Unlimited Beer/Wine/Soft Drinks
    And of course, a beautiful belly dancer.

    The Banquet Includes: (prices listed are the normal menu prices to demonstrate the value on offer)

    Entree

    Tabouli - $9.50
    Traditional Lebanese salad. A combination of crushed wheat, tomatoes, parsley, onions, mint, lemon juice and virgin olive oil.
    Hommos - $9.00
    Puréed Chickpeas blended with tahina sauce, garlic and lemon juice.
    Baba Ghannouj - $9.00
    Smoked eggplant dip mixed with tahina sauce, garlic and lemon juice.
    Falafel - $9.50
    Spicy combination of beans, vegetables, and herbs patties served hot with tahina sauce.
    Sambousik - $8.50
    Mild Fetta Cheese with onions and mixed herbs wrapped in filo pastry.
    Makanek - $10.00
    Grilled spicy lamb sausages drizzled with lemon juice and sumac.
    Meat cigars - $9.50
    Spicy lean minced lamb and pine nuts rolled in filo pastry.
    Ors Kafta - $10.50
    Grilled Patties of spiced minced lamb with onions, parsley and sumac.

    Main courses

    Shish Tawook - $22.00
    Marinated chicken breast on skewers barbecued and coated with herbs, garlic and lemon juice.
    Shish kebab - $22.00
    Barbecued marinated lamb fillets on skewers.
    Maroush Basha - $23.00
    Braised beef fillet tagine with Arabian herbs and spices, tomato concasse served with saffron rice.
    Fresh green salad - $6.00

    Desserts

    Mahalabia - $7.00
    Traditional Lebanese custard, topped with honey syrup, pistachio nuts and blossom water.
    Baklava - $7.00
    Filo pastry filled with various nuts and laced with honey syrup.
    Turkish delight - $6.00

    Beverages
    Beer and wine range from $4.50 to $8.00 (also unlimited inclusion in price)


    Payement must be made at the latest, one week before event. PM me with your intrests to organise payement. If we get more than 25 people, the price will drop. Bring your friends, we'll be in for an excellent night!!!

    Soryy but Im out, I wont be able to get any weekend off post DECA in december :( Christmas sales etc Sounds like a great idea, I hope all the others enjoy their drive on the day (and their food :D )

    Too many people away from work so I'm working almost full-time in November and December (night shifts). But I love Lebanese food (Middle Eastern, generally) and since the restaurant is not a million miles from where I live, I might just call in with the Missus one evening.
