Hi Guys, I just want to know if anyone else has done this. I removed the glove box and under steering wheel panel and cleaned them before using a interior dye/paint to re-color them. Here is a pic of how it turned out. I think it is a pretty good look and it's keeping the inserts original. I was going to re-cover in leather but I am now seriously re-considering that idea. Let me know what you think.

Pics look pretty neat ... if the real life finish is as good, you would save a lot of effort as opposed to going for the leather.

Go for it! I did this for the whole interior of my 2 seater & it came out very nice. Black tweed looks far better than the stock grey

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, dye the whole lot black and see how it goes. Are there any other pics out there, tried to find some on the net but can't see anything out there...
