Hey guys a mate of mine in WA who has no mechanical knowledge has just blown his heater core, he has no idea about cars and no idea what he needs to do, just wondering if someone can help him as he needs his car as a daily driver, i explained to him about the ea falcon heater hose bypass thing but he still has no idea what to do, please pm me with your mobile number if you can help him cheers, Baz
Quick fix RACWA or any mech can do a bypass with one of the existing heater hoses, or any same daimeter hose; just loop it back to bypass heater pipes. Doesn't have to flow coolant so kinking of hose is not a problem.
WOuld RAC do that? Given its illegal (isn't it? heater has to be working for demister etc)?? Im asking the question not judging. Pretty sure mines bypased.
