Is that all the zeds that were there on the Which state do you believe has the sexiest ? Did you take any pixs of the UAS and the Candy purple Z everyone was talking about? Did the UAS Z get a dyno run with the new 3.5ltr engine? Day looked great and a success
Well according to Rob, the mrc mainline dyno reads low because it is unfudgeable. But somehow now the Uas dyno reads lower? [TIS]
Ease up tiger. Have you read about the mainline yet? They are very hard to get a inaccurate read out with. Not impossible. Just extremely hard. Also rob I sure and myself watched to make sure sensors were placed in appropriate positions/locations. Generally speaking, industry usually accepts mainlines giving slightly lower readings than what you would find on perhaps a dyno dynamics or hub , other dyno. Some exceptions may apply. Ill skip a lot and get to a summary Rob and I noticed. Ill go into more depth with pictures later but Rob and I both had recent tunes on the mainline dyno over at MRC. Rob260=430rwkw Procky=410rwkw On the dyno day Rob260=400rwkw Procky=380rwkw Both of us had near exactly the same difference (I rounded to a even number) 30rwkw difference between the two. Logan (3clipse) was the exception who made MRC=306rwkw UAS=313rwkw
Where's the fun in that? So in Aus apparently "stock" is open to pretty much and mods as long as stock turbos? Oh come onnnnnnn  Did you run a bone stock Z32 TT manual no mods at all? what did you get? This is not cricket - no underarm bowls will be accepted
Ease up big fella -what would you have me do? Stock Stock bolt ons Aftermarket turbos stock motor Aftermarket turbo forged motor Stock NA Modified NA etc etc etc ? Gonna end up with more categories than cars which kinda takes the fun out of it. For the purposes of the day we ran NA TT stock turbos TT Aftermarket turbos Closest to stock TT was probably Marcus who pulled 198 on the initial power runs then stuck around for some fuel map corretions and pulled about 210 from memory.
This is now one of my favourite cars on the forum. The wheels finish the car off perfectly. So much so I can look past the wing and doors lol Love this too. So clean.
Thanks to above ^^^ Keep an eye in HPI ;p lol Also the silver one is Marcus. Super clean interior and the wheels look better in person. Again Chris! Fantastic photography!!!
Pics and Wrapup OK take two after my computer shit itself during my last attempt to post Great day all round I believe, not too much heartbreak and no dead Zeds so I'd call that a success? Couple of carpark shots, we had plenty of time to chat and inspect the competition while setting up the dyno and waiting for the photographer to arrive. Some of us (one of us) was still madly polishing their car at this stage... The show-pony Zeds Ali/AK dropped over to say hi a little later in the day. His Zed is now sporting GT2871R turbos and a custom widebody kit since last we saw him. A lot of work has gone into this car and it drew alot of attention from the crowd. Shame it didn't jump on the rollers. A tidy Little Red Zx that stayed hidden for most of the day. Big thanks to Chris for letting me use his tripod for the dyno shots. NewZ was first up for the day and pulled an impressive result despite pinging past 5k. Kawaskirider having issues running lean but still giving it a go 3clipse pulled some impressive numbers. This one would certainly have won the "return on investment" prize. Mystery Supra that had Procky scared but seemed to be having issues. Certainly looked the part but had trouble cracking 200. Emile's 370z. Amazing to watch this thing pull a lazy 230+ with only bolt on mods. My car -thanks to all who climbed in the boot to hold it onto the rollers. There's nothing quite like sitting on the back of the car and feeling it try to lift of the dyno underneath you... ShineyZX gorgeous NA. Felt really bad for Ben pulling the spoon but I think the auto box really worked against him. I can't stress enough how nice this car is, and how impressed I am by the workmanship. This isn't a high end workshop job the way, all done at home by a first year apprentice (the owner). Watch this space... Nice 370Z A-Bris-Z getting some dyno loving Helping kawaskirider hold on at the end of the day.
Also you of all people should appreciate that some people are more interested in stirring the pot than a rational discussion on where and why and how...
Yeah that's everyone that ran during the day. Sexiest Z? Depends what turns you on I guess? No pics from me of John's car, it stayed parked under the hoist all day. One pic of Ali's car below. Yep big success and looking forward to the next event whenever and wherever that may be
Now now I was stirring myself just a touch BUT surprised at the lack of cooperation when it comes to a decent figure from this magic dyno so we can at least have a stab at correcting figures Not that I actually care, just a little poke at you cheeky Australians :zlove::br:
not to put you all to sleep with na talk... what mods has dreamzzz done? not far off him if i manage to spend a whole day at an event for once....

Nice. Which month? It goes to show that a stock bodied zed with tasteful mods like a nice set of wheels and lowered can look so good. Kudos to him.
