Snap On make a tool to get the retainers off the valves. Not particularly expensive IIRC. Any reason, or just playing?

To get the retainers off ? I used a 6" long 1/2" extension put a small magnet in the female end pushed and down on the retainer. The magnet grabs the collets as they are relased , worked perfect and cost me Zero $.
