difference dose it make in setting them high > low. mine are set fair high and go off high in the rev range over 5 is this normal or should i back them off is it driveing style that sets the mark thanks geoff
where did you install these? My mate has the m and he had them on his intake pipes and it hardly made a sound. How and where did u go about installing this type? Thanks
Bigger the vent hole quieter the noise because there is less restrictions. my mate was also running a ts type 1 and it made a pissy noise on stock 7psi.As for spring rate adj, if you loosen it up it will blow equally at low and high rpm. However if it is too loose you will leak boost at high boost, so need a perfect balance in order to have a correctly adjusted bov.
I have 2 x Turbosmart Type 2 BOV's >> And boy are they LOUD !!!. They are mounted in the stock positions
I've got type 3 Turbosmart >> BOV's & they are set reasonably low. Don't have a problem with them losing pressure when high in rev range. Just have to change a little earlier so that they don't scare the silver rinse set. Cheers Kerry
