    Hey, new to the forums.

    Names jack.

OK, So my car has been all sweet since i bought it 3 weeks ago.
When out of nowhere i went to start it and it wont turn on. its turning over but not all the way. battery is fine. i was wondering if it was the ecu or anything like that.

Anyone else have simular problems and how to fix them.

    Much appreciated.

    The 'usual suspects'

dirty / corroded wiring connectors in engine bay are the most likely causes of misfire/non starting etc followed by PTU etc.

Always start with the basics. Cleaning connectors cost you nothing but time. If you're in Brisbane, and can get to me in Mansfield, I can diagnose your prob no charge. Then up to you how you want to go about fixing.:zlove:

ROFL that's where my zed died a couple of nights ago... It must be a maccas carpark thing!

Same problem as well... But the RACV dude reckons it was my battery, said it was faulty... Jump started me and yeah now the car is working fine again

    That sounds like the PCU.
The older ones are pretty dodgy. When they heat up, the tracks on the circuit board expand and buckle slightly, breaking the circuit. When it cools down, they go back to normal. The longer you leave it the worse it gets. You engine starts shutting down while you're driving. Not fun. From experience. Haha
