QLD The "about time we had a cruise" Cruise 18/09/11

    Well I think its about time for us QLD'rs to get of our arses and take advantage the the lovey spring weather and have ourselves a long overdue Cruise.

    My plan is to do a version of Macmans (where the hell are we) Cruise down to Murwullimbah, but without getting lost. :p

    The plan is to meet at Yatala pie and head inland up to Mt Tamborine where we will have the customary quick one at St Bernards. Then head back down the other side of the mountain to Nerang-Murwullimbah rd and that that all the way up through Numbah and down into Murwullimbah where we will stop at the Tumbulgum Tavern for lunch.

    I will do a practice run so I can and approximate start time soon. I'll plan to sit down for lunch at 1pm.

    Can I get an "e oh eye" on how many people would like to come including PSA's so I know how big a table to book at the Tavern.

    Hey Al, I can't make it but .... it was originally the Duey Cruise, named after Member Duey (Don).

    Yatala's a good starting point and don't forget the Gem Shop in Numinbah Valley if you need a coffee/snack stop.

    PS: I just got home after 4,000 km round trip on roads so good I wished I had a Zed here ... :br: [Averaged 101 kmph on the Bangkok to Phuket leg].

    Sounds like a great cruise, sorry I can't be there - 10 year wedding anniversary that weekend, so proably should be organising something else, hey? ;)
