did anyone end up molding these onto a standard bonnet ?

just wondering about cracking issues moulding figerglass onto the bonnet due to heat ect as im thinking about doing it soon.

remember that with these installed it would release the heat out meaning your bonnet would be alot cooler...

and let water in so it will be alot cleaner
i dont mind the vented bonnets,
but ive always wondered with vents what problems will occur with the electronics during the rain in winter ,certainly not a good idea with anyone with a blinged motor  ,

ive got some different ones to these however the cooling effect should still come in to play . Im worried though as i believe that our bonnets are aluminum and therefore the movment factor with heating and cooling would be worse than a standard metal bonnet and ive seen moulded scoops crack on metal bonnets , the safest way would be to get a complete fiverglass bonnet to start with i guess . What is you advice on moulding scoops onto bonnets can it be done sucessfully ? they guy that sold me the scoops said the safest way is to put a layer of fiberglass over the whole bonnet but im not keen on that idea , any other ideas are appreciated .

depends on the style of the vent , the angle of the intake , the type of mesh over the intake , i doubt much water will get in mine.
