Alright so, the recent Meet/cruise was pretty successful given the weather conditions, there was a great variety of cars a few that said they would turn up,but didnt., but overall it was a great night and ive only had positive feedback, people are already keen for the next one so,..... here it is!

The meet is in the same place as it was last time, the caloundra bus interchange
(AKA CALOUNDRA BUS TERMINAL) Located at 43 Cooma Terrace Caloundra, its a massive multistory carpark you cant miss it.


dont listen to rumors or listen to bullshit stories such as

"the speed bumps are too big to drive my low car over" - lies, the bumps are tiny.

" cops will be all over this" - Lies, the cops have made appearances but even at the last one we even had police supporting what i had arranged because we're genuine enthusiasts.

in short, its the perfect spot to hold the meet and there is a shitload of parking spaces too.



As for timing, The meet will start from 8PM on Saturday The 4th of June. it started at 7:30 last time and even by 9:00PM i was pretty keen for the drive let alone everyone else but we waited til 9:30 like i said....

We will be leaving by 9:00PM ON THE ****ING KNOCKER, we are not waiting for anyone.


THIS TIME I WILL BE MORE STRICT WITH THE TIME WE DEPART FROM THE MEET LOCATION FOR THE ACTUAL CRUISE. SO, AS A WAY OF ENFORCING THAT, PLEASE ABIDE BY THE FOLLOWING STEPS!



- Organise your fuel supplies before the meet if possible or worst case scenario go and get the fuel a fair amount of time before we leave the venue of the meet. [/color]!!!! DO NOT!!! LEAVE IT TIL THE LAST HALF HOUR TO GO GET WHATEVER YOU NEED BECAUSE WE ARE NO LONGER WAITING FOR PEOPLE TO COME BACK. IF YOURE GONE AND YOURE NOT BACK BY THE LEAVING TIME, WE'RE GOING WITHOUT YOU.


- Organise food before hand, eat yo' dinner or whatever you have to do before you come to the meetup or pick it up on the way, (There may be a servo included in the stops for the cruise, then again maybe not. thats still to be decided)



- For convenience matters bring your friends in their cars with you, so everyones there and the whole cruise isnt waiting on 4 people that are too busy at home batting one off or something else of the sort

Theres a couple more things id like to say but theres no real point. Basically guys & girls,
BE ORGANISED FOR THE MEET AND DRIVE.


As for the cruise destination, it is yet to be decided but i will have it completely organised as soon as possible.


Now, depending on the numbers attending the actual drive, will depend on how many cruise leaders will be distributed through the group. i will make sure that there is an allocated cruise leader between every so many cars, ill make it clear to everyone who those people are, and who NOT to follow.

In saying that, this isnt the fast and the furious, there isnt going to be 100+ people all driving to a straight road so a bunch of heroes can street race. sure at a cruise people tend to give their cars a bit more than they usually do, that is fine, HOWEVER PEOPLE WILL BE ASKED NOT TO ATTEND THE NEXT CRUISE IF THEY ARE PULLING CONSTANT STUPID DRIVING STUNTS SUCH AS THE FOLLOWING:


- Overtaking people on blind corners, that is a big ****ing NO NO, not only can you mess up your night but other peoples night and cars too. so dont do it.

-SKIDS !!!!! take your skids elsewhere, commodore or import i dont care its not wanted.

i may come but i doubt it, main street of caloundra sounds like a bad idea.

 

this would easily be the hmmmmmmm maybe 11th or 12th cruise ive organised, mainstreet of caloundra has never EVER been a problem. if anything the only cop trouble we've ever had is in the small towns near the mountain roads we go cruising through.

its going to be a decent sized event, SO bring your zeds out guys. even if you're from brisbane, theres alot of brisbane-ites coming up

 

i m keen to come for the cruise, how long does it go for?

 

its going to be easier if you come for the actual meet as well man, you know... the meet before the cruise itself.

the drive itself will probably go for an hour and a half... give or take. not THAT much of a mission

looking at around 51+ cars in attendance now. so come on guys. come out for the meet and drive I WANT TO SEE MORE THAN JUST 1 OR TWO ZEDS

 

I've highlighted the reason I won't be attending. Its a sure-fire way to get a pack of wankers involved.

 

Generalise all you want, if it wasnt for that website my cruises wouldnt have ever taken off the way they have now.

my cruises and meets are generally wanker free, ask ANYONE.

im not going to argue with you though, if thats your conclusion of "how it is" then youre the one missing out.

people like you on other sites have said the exact same things turned up and gone afterwards " had a good time lastnight guys" etc.
