Hey guys, I'm getting an odd ticking noise coming from either behind the dash/driver footwell that seems to correspond with the engine behaving erratically while idling. This only happens occasionally though. For example instead of the engine purring like brmmmmmmmm it'll sound like brmmm brm brm brmmmm with a ticking noise in the cabin underscoring it... The idle numbers on the dash are within normal levels, 1500 or so when cold, 750-800 when warm, the ticking seems to occur regardless of how warm or cold the engine is, but occurs every now and then. any ideas?
