    Hi all,

Replacing my turbos at the moment and had to get some new braided oil feed lines as one of my old lines was basically welded in and got destroyed while trying to remove it. The turbo fittings which came with the new lines seem a bit on the small side though at around 1.0mm. Looking to drill it out slightly but wanted to check before I do...

Research suggests that the following size restrictors should be used depending on turbo bearing type:

    Journal: 1.5mm
    Ball: 1.0mm

Can anyone confirm this for me please? Replacing with Anti's old GT525s (thrust bearing).

    Cheers,

    Martin :br:

1mm is the usual for a ball bearing, hard to tell from the photo but those do look like ball bearing restrictors. Nissan installed their restrictors in the banjo bolt for the driver's side and in the pressure sender T-piece on the passenger's side, best bet is to use those as a guide.

Thanks Tom, I'm looking at the stock drivers side banjo bolt with restrictor and it is marginally bigger - not quite 2mm though. I'd say 1.5mm is spot on for future reference. Cheers!
