    Hi everyone,

I have a 1989 auto ZX, for some reason recently it stays in the gears to long to a point where I have to either rev the hell out of it for it to change or take my foot of the accelerator.

Does anybody know what might be the problem here?

Get a gearbox service done, especially if you dont know when its last one was, one of the best things ive done to my car. It had the same problem, now changes quickly and smoothly.

Tektrader Z32 Hoe, service me baby

Its likely the TPS isn't set correctly. TPS = throttle position switch

    service

Take it into a transmission specialist and get it serviced. mine was doing the same thing when I bought the car and I thought nothing of it. ended up blowing the tranny up one day on the way home from work and cost me heaps.

i cant speak for the zed boxes but my t350 box would have similar symptoms when fluid was low.

    Check TPS, Check Fluid.

Better yet, get a Manual :p
