Stainless steel door sills.....any interest?

I've been talking with a company that makes nice stainless steel sills. I know these have been made in the past and were quiet popular but you cant seem to get them anymore. There was two options, with LED illuminated 300ZX like these:


Or no illumination but embossed and half the price like these:


If you would be likely to purchase either of these please vote for the one you'd prefer. If there is enough interest I will look seriously at having these made but the cost (due to large order requirement) is high so would have to be popular.
Expected prices would be $60-$70 for plain embossed and $100-$120 for illuminated.

 

Marcus I'm definitely keen on an illuminated pair. Can they do them in different colours as in red illumination?

Not a question I've asked yet but I'd be surprised if they didn't do at least red and blue.

 

It would be a good option to have as not everybody would want the same colour or even red or blue for that matter, so the more colours they can get the better. I'm definitely keen & am more than happy to be your first customer

I voted on embossed before I saw them lol but I'm in on the illuminated ones in (hopefully red illumination). Those pictured are the original illuminated sills....will they look exactly the same as pictured?

 

Marcus, cool idea but super important you offer them in black!

 

I was interested in these last time around. But I recall there were minor issues with the stainless looking uniform throughout the whole sill. I think it was the grade they used and when pressed it market the stainless.

Definitely interested in the illumination styled sill. They look pretty sexy. Be keen to see close ups though.

LOL....really why . I'll discuss all finishes with them if it's a goer, but I expect anything other than stainless steel finish will be extra. To keep manufacturing cost down to make this still affordable you usually need to restrict options. Looking at probably greater than 200 units for a production run so if you have a few mates that also want black let me know .

The lower part of the doors are identical, I would expect the sills to be the same.
