Yeah well i wasnt trying to critisise so thats the main point...i was trying to help but if you have to call it criticism then its very very mild....as regard to colour and transmission sorry i didnt see it as i normally fly through the forum otherwise it takes me like 2hrs instead of 1hr if im lucky , but i said etc which meant the basics.....his add was pretty brief as it didnt even have the year model or kms (now if thats not important i dont know what is) but if he doesnt want to tell us that fine by me.....my intensions are clear to me in that all i was doing is helping a newbie.....

I still get told how to do things on here....like i posted a few things in the wrong spot at first and still do but i take it......

not a newbie at all...just changed houses and computers and was easier to sign in from scratch..ive given many a newbie useful (if not colourful) information on their cars and such.

Especially being (on a new comp) a "newbie"(ie..noone generally sticks up for newbies.
I do appologise...I have a short fuse..always have...but when im on a good day..Ive been known to help out the worst of 'em.
when i sense sarcasm(smartassism) and smugness (which i think is the worlds worst quality) I usually do get my back up.
And the people that flame (u know who u are) are just trying to u know nudge nudge "hey ive been on this forum for years and im a post whore so i can down newbies attitude really sux.

by arrdvark's email to IBBI. You realise that by posting up your critisism replies is just bumping the thread (which is a for sale BTW) back up to the top of the page (and pushing off other less-offensive members' threads off onto page 2+ which many people never visit)...

The best thing is to ignore this thread, this way the member in question is not indirectly 'rewarded' for his unpopular comments

 

I think IBBI's reply was worse, sure, aardvark shoulnd't have done it in the first place, but IBBI probably learnt himself a life lesson out of it, don't play games with that which you don't know. And IBBI's public display of a private email, and then public reply really did himself no justice.. hehehe

Hey uncertainaardvark.....its nice to see your calmed now and all is fixed up now......I was a newbie on the aus300zx and soarercentral at around the same time and i noticed that newbies are treated badly on the soarercentral forum but not on here, in fact about 3 months ago i posted a link to the soarercentral post of what i said to some admins due to there harrasment of a newbie posting a for sale......it was quite amusing as it was clearly there fault and many on here had a laugh......

Now to nickTT i do agree going public with this or my nasty 2nd reply was not that good, but im sure u would be very pissed if someone had a go as uncertainaardvark did for a post which meant no harm.....he might of had a ruff day but thats not my fault and doesnt give him a reason to call me names like that....... and nick whats this mean "don't play games with that which you don't know"?...... Im sure you wouldnt just ignore a message like that so keep quite buddy......im settled down myself and dont need to be pissed again.....
