Hi. I am new to the Z32 community and having just recently bought a 300zx I have found the stock two speaker system to be completely inadequate to my requirments (is it really just 2 speakers or is my car missing some- as i can see space at the back for antoher 2???) Hence my question - what is the largest possible size speakers that will fit under stock door trims?
Hey mate, generally speaking 6.5's are as big as will fit UNDER the door trims... Some guys have 96x9's but I pretty sure that they aren't under the trim... I suggest a search as this has been discussed many times
the back sits two pissy 4" inch speakers.. to get good sound get a good pair of 6" splits.. for the front.. good sub and amp.. and if you really want to.. the 2 4" speakers in the back...but not really needed.. plese pleaseeeee dont put 6x9's in the front it sounds shocking..
Agree with Topher The best sound you'll get in the front is from 6" splits. I have MTX and they are awesome! I didn't bother with rear speakers, just the splits plus a decent sub and amp combo.
