Was speaking to the local servo guy who told me that there's a Shell station on Pennant Hills road that sells Shell 100. This is the first I've heard of it, and will be checking it out on the weekend (out of my way towards work). Is this old news? It's a first for me, but I'm excited for my jspec
Don't touch it ....>> Most race car workshops have been advised not to run it and I know of one engine blow up in an IPRA car that was caused by running Optimax Extreme.
damn. might steer clear for a while and follow up on local servo since he used it on his VL commie recently. out of curiosity where did you hear about the engine blowing up?

Optimax 100 contains ethanol which has been known to kill the older style injectors that are fitted to pre-1994 Zeds.
if you search you will find abit on shell 100.. i know for a fact ive posted in 2 diff topics about it. pretty much its 98RON with ethanol used to boost up the octane to 100RON and the petrol is E10. voids alot of car warrenties too.
