At the moment the wiring comes thru the gearshift boot and drapes down past and rubs on the tailshaft - from there they go to the clips on the edge of the tunnel like it should be Do they normally go thru the gearshift boot ?? Thats not right is it
They normally go thru little rubber grommets near the pivot point of the hand brake . A lot of people just cut them off and tape or heat shrink the end. If the end touches the body the light will come on. Cheers Dave
