    Hello,

Im just half way through doing a brake pad replacemnt and i want to get the rotors off to have machiened. I thought after removing the calipers i should be able to just slide them off...seems to be not the case...either that or im a bit of a pu$$y and cant pull them hard enough to get em off.

Any advice would be much apprecialted.

    Thanks,

    Josh

There is a bolt hole on the rotor hat...

screw a bolt into it and it will push the rotor off.

    Thanks,

Thanks heaps...ill go and see if i can find it and give it a go. In the mean time i have been able to get the other one off (it just slid off) this one might be a little stuck.

    Thanks again

Mine slid straight off with some gentle coaxing with a mallet.

mine were stuck on, really badly!! I got a 6 foot pry bar and levered them

off, then they weren't so stubborn :)

When i mean stuck on, the actual thread threaded when i screwed a bolt into it to get them off. This was fronts only, rears came off fine with the thread.
