So i purchased this Z around 4 months ago, Enjoyed it alot and then the gearbox died on me. I originally wanted to purchase a bare, rolling shell 2+0, but then found out I have a Junior on the way, so Figured i'd stay 2+2 to allow the little one to enjoy the Zed aswell.

Here she is, the Day I purchased her (Woman did not come with car, although she did come with my last one, hah). Minor things done on that Day. Serviced, 6 hour drive, Freo drive-through (had to).

Then some delightful people decided they needed my 3 pieces of bubblegum more then I did, so smashed my Driver window to get to it.

Aaaand then this happened. Gearbox cracked, TC dead, Starter Motor dead. So, with all that dying, My new Garage finally being finished and accessable somewhat (down a semi-steep driveway) and collecting a sort-of acceptable tool collection. I've decided to commit to a Long-term build.

Have done a few things before I decided to do this build thread

    Already Done:
    -555cc Injectors
    -Interior Reapholstered to VIP style.
-NISMO LM-GT4's (need to be freshened up)
    -Rubber Mouldings around each Window.
    -Lifter Replacement
    -HKS GT800 Twin Turbo System
-Slotted + Drilled Rotors with Brembo's from a GTR
    -Fully Rewired Electrical System
-Fully Installed Viper Electronic System on a Sony XPLODE Head Unit (Remote -Start, Immobilizer, Turbo Timer, Alarm)
-Replaced all speakers with BOSE speakers.
    -TEIN Superstreet Coilovers all around
    -CZP 2x Sidemounts
    -CZP Radiator + Cooling System

    The Plans:
    -Respray Mercedes White. (Blackened roof)
-Full Type II Twin Z Kit, with Type III Lip
    -Built Manual Box (Currently auto)
-Forged Block and Internals. Considering Concreting.
-Z1 Concept Exhaust System (They currently only do it for a 2+0, but best mate works for an exhaust shop. could work something out)
    -Headers, Dump pipes, Extractors
-Rip up the Upholsery and re-lay. as they did a Horrible Job.
    -Head Shielding the entire undercarriage.
    -1pce Driveshaft
    -LSD Differential

I'm not really going for a Big-Power build, just something I can enjoy aswell as have some fun when a track day with my club arises.

Will keep updating with Photos as the build progresses :)

Also - Big shout out to Sev. Although i've never met him. I do appreciate the time and effort he went into building this the first time. I had a blast in the 4 months I was driving it with his build. Unfortunately the guy he sold it too wasn't much of an enthusiast. It will be back to its former Glory in no time.

Total Upholstery in Wanagara in WA. Think they closed down a few months after this got done. Can see why though, they did a pretty sloppy job.
