    Hi all,

Got some new hard race tension rod bushings to replace my OEM ones as they have gone to the crap heap.

Was wondering if theres anyone close to or willing to come to Lilli Pilli, 2229, NSW to help me out with this (possibly this weekend)

Need to change the bushings over....

    Attempted myself but proved difficult....

With proper tools may be ok, but I'm a bit left for dust in this area...

    Anyone willing to help?

You will probably need a hydraulic press to get the new bushes in man. Remove tie rods and take them to your nearest mechanic workshop with a 6 pack and they should be able to push the old ones out and new ones in in about 5 minutes.

Part of the problem is I can't get them off...don't think I have the right tools...tried using a 17mm spanner but it doesn't offer enough leverage :(

You'll probably need a socket and big long breaker bar to crack the nuts. I just used a strong friend since my girly arms weren't up to the task...

True...I've asked goodyear for a quote on the replacement and a wheel alignment if its not sky high prices i'll settle for that otherwise will look around for a mate to help me out....
