Hi all, I've got a set of Noltec UCA's on my Z which (as best I can tell) are identical to the ones in the following picture: http://nismo.com.au/pricelists/General/300ZX parts/widebodyzedctrlarms.jpg One of the bushes has reached the end of its life and I need it replaced, however I can't find anyone who now sells Noltec gear (is the company dead and buried...?), and also tried going to Fulcrum Suspension but they said they'd have to manufacture one from scratch and it would probably be cheaper to buy a new set of UCA's. So, does anyone know if Noltec has actually closed down? Any ideas on where I can go to get get the bush replaced without it costing an arm and a leg? Cheers all, M
A simple Google Search would have given you this link, http://www.aussieweb.com.au/business/noltec+engineering+pty+ltd/1732886/ A word of warning, do a thorough inspection of your Noltec Arms, as they have a history off serious failure on some applications(this is documented in numerous posts on this forum)the main issues being distortion and/or broken welding which can result in serious failure/accident(Red Z Mikey comes to mind).:zlove:
Noltec has never been asociated with quality, in fact I'd go so far as to call them dangerous. Their bushes fail very quickly so I'd recommend investing in something else.
Thanks for the input guys - seems I've got a little more homework to do in terms of either fixing what's there or just replacing it.
