replace interior door handle with door card on ?

I think it would be. Only PITA would be linking up the cables. As long as when you disconnected the cables, you dont loose them. Try wrapping thin wire or string around them so the dont drop. I might have a bracket missing but mine dropped far enough to make it hard to reach through the door card hole.
Its a 2 minutes job with door card off.

 

door card of is a easy job though, may as well take it off.....
