Member Instamatic said this about a 2K front bar and was similar price to Rob

"Talk to your local Nissan dealer. I got mine through Nissan and it was in my hands within 10 days, I didn't have to pay freight and it cost $580 at retail. If you can scam a trade price you should be able to get it for much lower than that."

Has someone got a part # and who is the best Dealer in Melbourne
    89 2 seater
85022 30P28 is CZP part # Not sure if this is 2 seater or 4

Nissan Australia will have the ADM/Euro style rear bar with wide number plate slot and fog lights for a 2+2.

If you end up getting one from Japan let me know your paint code as FAST list a suitable for all part number and a paint matched part number for the rear bar.

The generic part number for a 2 seater JDM rear bar is 85022-40P28

Is it different to the USA 30P28, sorry dunno.

Nope, they'll order whatever you like. Give them the right part number and they can bring it in, regardless of whether that car was sold here or not. The bumper I got from Nissan was a 2k spec and they had no issue supplying it.

Rodo, I got my bumper through Dandenong Nissan. They're just up the road from Nissan HQ and thus their domestic freight costs are quite minimal. Good blokes at the parts counter too, and very helpful. Perhaps ask someone with FAST to dig up the right part# for what you're looking for, just so you don't end up with the wrong shape bumper.

Yes I rang them around 10 this morning
$690 and approx 3 weeks delivery - stock still available
When I asked about Trade Price - he said that is trade RRP would be $900+
Still waiting for CZP to come back with a freight price
I found bars cheaper ($284) but not many ship as cheap n quick as Coz

Only obvious difference I can see between USDM and JDM rear bars is behind the number plate itself
USDM is solid whereas JDM has a rather large triangle cut out
Otherwise from my 10 sample bars on eBay USA they look the same

That triangle cut out is to accommodate the JDM number plate bracket, not needed, self tapers into pilot holes in the urethane USA one would be OK.

I have had a good look in FAST and cant see any other difference.

BUT, I'm not saying they are interchangeable, I'm not that brave.

What colour is the car, if you know the paint code on the VIN plate even better ?
