My House got broken in to last weekend, they clean me up really good, my TV, laptops, macbook pro, home theater, PS3, Wii, my transformer collections, zippo collections, my 300zx, and my motor bike were gone. they took very much almost everything that can be sold from my house.
the police called couple days ago and said my car is located and it's already in their shed. I just managed to go there today to see what damage have been done to it. i took some picture of my beloved "Brenda" (that's what my friend call her)

    "is you car insured?"
to answer that question: i just said, the insurance is a bit complicated, i'm still trying to short it out.
if the worst scenario, my car insurance won't pay, i'll put the car in for sale section together with other accessories that i haven't installed (body kitt, ferari tail light, etc) and i'll be selling it as is. i cannot afford to fix it anymore.

sorry to hear that mate, wankers did you over good and proper.

that being said, as long as the engine is ok we can put that car back on the road for a sensible price, looks like just wheels, windows and a few other small items to replace.

happy to help if you want it.

I am so sorry to see that. Hope the insurance works out for you.

Also a recent victim of car theft here. 3rd party without theft so I'm in pretty much in the same boat of bearing the costs myself. I'd rather not find my car at all if it's going to be stripped and ruined like that though.

    ****ing scum.

    that looks personal..

anyone you can think of that hates you, or any dodgy ****s that know of you?
the fact they went to the effort to clean you out, but then actually scrubb paint off every panel and smash holes into every window makes me think they wanted you to suffer as much as possible

the car didn't start when i tried to start the engine, no light came on, i think it might have flat battery, so i can't really tell the condition of the engine. but since the f****ers clean me up very good, i need to prioritize my need, and fixing up the zed is on the very bottom of the list.
but hey.. i might change my mind, so i'll hold your word for it, thanks mate.

It might be something simple. Even if you don't keep it, a running Zed is worth much more than a stolen non-runner. Hold a tech day! They're free.

    That's disturbing.

Destruction of societal trust for starters. No-one could dream of this sh!t happening to them. How are you dealing with the rage, chief? I think of 'everyday' burglaries and it doesn't register as being this bad, or 'thorough' for want of a better term.

Bad enough about the valued items indoors, let alone stooping to taking your ride! I so wish for karma in these circumstances, but you just can't leave the sort imaginary repercussions on these dirtbags that fulfills derservance.

I feel a little raped just readin your post.

    My sincerest, revengeful condolences.

Any news on the bike? Model, colour, rego and vin? Could be worth posting on some of the bike forums and see if anyone sees it or sus parts for sale

That's messed up and really quite a bizarre theft too. To clean you out of a bike + all the personal gear as well as the car, one has to assume that they either made multiple trips or had some pretty serious hardware to load it all into. One indicates that they may have been spotted by a neighbor, the other indicates that they knew you'd be absent and prepared before hand. probably worth a pretty extensive ask around.

Absolutely horrific news. Let the police do their job, but I wonder did any one of your neighbour see anything. Like you said that took a lot of stuff that would have taken a long time and possibly multiple trips.
I home some one takes the time to return the Zed to glory, if not yourself.
Be aware, that noting they know what you have they will assume you are insured and will return at a later date to collect the replacements. They may have been watching the area for routines for a while.
    Again, it is just wrong.

 Man that sucks bigtime, sorry to hear.. But as one of the other guys said it has to be someone who has it in for you and it's personal, an ex g/f and her new uber tuffguy wanker b/f , if i was a cop that's the avenue i'd be looking at.

But keep the car dude, there are plenty of Zed guys in W.A who could most likely help you out with a few parts, and a tech day is good might get ya car up and running, only gonna cost a few snags and chips and dips and a few beers.

Chin up and rebuild the Zed, it's Brenda ffs ya bestest g/f in the world :D
