Noisy Zed? More like real Sounding beast. And yes Fasteset N/A on the Day 2nd over all Sorry Martin Next time mate
Yeah, TTs and 1/2 inch of water on the road is never a good combination . My Zed has always been a PIG in the rain. Well it's a lot of fun really, but just hard to keep traction naturally. I also had noticed, that my rear tyres really need replacing (no tread) and one back tyre was at 20 PSI. No wonder I was aquaplaning at 80 ks . Must have a slow puncture there, as I checked tyre pressure the week b4. But, At least my brakes were working on the day I was considering getting the master cylinder done b4 skid pan day. That would have been a disaster if I lost my rear braking circuit during the "100km braking in the wet" test
I was really wanting to go to this, but as I didnt know if I would have my licence back by that date, I couldn't come I'll definatly make a showing at the next one. I've been to a few skidpan sessions up in Gympie, but the group I went with are no more so I need my skidpan fix lol.
What an awesome day that was the most fun I've had in a long time! Pex would also like a copy of the vid but have to work on tech day. Thanks heaps to Al and Mia for organising a fantastic day.
I was planning to do i tover the weekend, but I will take the lappie with me over the easter break, and do it then. Thay way I can't use the excuse that the business was too busy . I'll put up a youtube edit and organise to have the DVDs for you to collect at tech day.
Has anyone been using the "look where you want the car to go, not the road" technique they showed us when doing the slalom. Ive been making an effort to drive this way and i got to tell you, its great. Ive caught a few hazards before they become incidents already. Ive dodged a bucket that had fallen of a ute, a wheely bin that some kids put out on the road at night, and a bike copper. All of these were around corners where if you werent lookin around the corner, you would have only seen them too late. I cant wait to do a mountain run using this kind of vision. If you haven't used it since the course give it a crack. Don't worry you wont run up any curbs or hit any passing cars. Peripheral vision will look after that. Looking forward to the vid Pex. Did anyone else but me take any photos?
Yeah i Have Been Using it to Navigate my way up the High way in the mornings through traffic. HAHA and Also a Keen eye for speed Traps
Video 1 (complete video) is completed Web edit is coming along nicely. Will have that done by the time I return, and then just have to mix in a sound track.
