QLD CruiZe to ZedFest [via Woolongong] Thursday 20th

I am proposing an 0530 start from Nerang GCCC carpark for the 930km run to Caz's Woolongong residence.

Caroline has kindly offered to put us up for the night and then we'll all cruiZe on to Cowra, on Good Friday, together with the Sydney crew.

Hi Rob,

Assuming you guys leave on time, you will be coming past me between 8:00 and 8:30. There is a BP servo on the highway right near me, probably a good spot for a fuel top up and check. Easy late breakfast/mid morning stop is another 1.1/2 hours down the road at Coffs Harbour but the fuel is always expensive. I normally run from my place through to Raymond Terrace (north of Newcastle) as my next fuel stop. This is about 500km and could be a bit too far if some of the zeds are gas guzzling.

Another question on route through/around Sydney - are we running on any cashless toll roads that we will need to pre-arrange E-tags?

5 30 sucks arse big time....Its great if you dont have to travel south just to be at the start time.
Is there anyone else coming from the Sunny Coast or further north??

 

Earlier start the better I reckon, miss peak hours and the day is not as rushed. ljb85tt and myself are leaving Townsville at 3:00am on Tuesday.
