was a good night...

...some records broken and got to meet some zedders my best was 13.278 @ 105.41mph

 

Well, what a blast, PB for me of 12.695, could have gone again and maybe done better, but I was happy with the results

OH YEAH, What a night! It meant getting in trouble with my mrs for changing plans at the last minute. sorry Baby!

Got a call from Simonzx mid afternoon asking if i'd like to come along. Jumping out of my skin I of course had to oblige the opportunity.

Some nice times being run and some times that the drivers just wish they could have beaten.

It was a loud, intoxicating fuel burning rubber melting night with some absolutely awesome people.

You guys are the best.

We even got Brissie Beauty into her zed down the strip. :cool2: 16.75 with a trunk fulla junk. ONYA CINDY!!!!

Pex might have some news for us as well Great catching up with you all and hope to see you all in the near future. :biggrin: :cool2:

What a buzz! Great to finally do the 1/4 mile and see

how my baby is going. Wasn't sure what to expect but I got 13.56 at 104 mph - sounds about right with 12 psi boost, pod, cat back zorst and UDP for mods.

Thanks for all the words of encouragement guys. And thanks to Pex for organising us all again.

This was my first time and I'll definately be back. Now, what about getting into the 12's ....

 

14 PSI and a valve body mod to your gearbox will do it.
Approx cost $400 all up.

 

Hmmm. 400 bucks. Very tempting. And I could ditch

the toolbox, 2 chairs, spare tyre (and passenger seat) before I run it next time :biggrin: .

 

Yes, but don't forget to install 20KGs worth of tow bar

Well done indeed Greg, great time for a stock car. Those M/T's sure make the difference. You have a significant handicap too with all that C1 hanging off your car

WOW!! How much fun was that! Screwed up my first run due to noobiness. But got a 13.2 on my second run, which I'm very happy with. Sorry about ducking off so quicky at the end. I would have loved to have stayed and chatted. I'll definately be going back out there. I think a set of those Mickey T's are in order. :zlove:

 

I got a 13.2 aswell. It could have been faster but I backed off after launching because of Axel Tramp

Time to fix the suspension and I should be seeing 12's without M/T tyres.

pity i kept bogging down at the start even at 5k, i watch the the video footage i took from in the car and once i dropped the clutch the revs went from 5k to 2.5-3k , also looks like my lsd has died after being informed that i only had one smoking tyre in my last 2 burntouts
my lightened flywheel prob doesnt help me either at launch not enough rotating mass to keep the revs up but it works well on the street and track
i think ill stick to the track abit more fun going round corners FAST

oh i almost forgot i only got a 14.78 and my 60ft was 0.1 slower than when i ran a 14.73 on street tyres :bash:

 

A 15.1 for me Hitting the limiter in 3rd just as I corssed the line I'll upload timeslip tonight, and the dyno printout so it can go in the list.
