    Just heat wrap them

Was thinking that. But I heard that heat-wrapping can cause the metal to basically break down within a few years, while HPC coating doesn't (I don't know why it would, just something I've read in a few places)???

It gets wet and holds moisture, it shouldn't be a problem with stainless.

They're still at least 2-3 weeks off guys... boats are slow :)

I'll definately keep everyone up to date when news comes in!

That's cool, it gives me more time to save for a decent bit of pipework to be fabricated for the rest of the exhaust...
I'm so looking forward to being able to hear most of the exhaust note coming from the back and not the middle

OOO i want my dumps. how much do you think its going to cost to get these installed.

If all you want is dumps done, a shop would probably charge $50 - $100. i.e. Mettams charges $80 per hour labour.

Vaughan I wouldn't throw that statement around without doing your research mate. The top bolts are extremely annoying and I've known many exhaust shops to refuse fitting dump pipes to Z's or charging the earth.

This isn't a 1 hour job.... For someone who hasn't done this before set aside a weekend ;)
