    See i still don't know.
    I've been crunching some numbers based on a few of my times and trying to factor a few things.
    4.10's saw 258 @410-420rwkw area
    I think the 4.10's will see 275 @500awkw(670hp) area

    The issue with the 3.69 is that once you get into 5th gear it just doesn't do anything. (410-420rwkw on 3.69 was 244.8kmph)

    What are your rear tyre sizes procky?

    270/40/18's theoretical top speed at 7000rpm with the 4.1 gears is 286kmh.

    If you're not hitting redline in 5th with the 4.1 gears you're not going to go any faster with the 3.7's.

    If your serious about that statement, then a Holinger SG (320nm) or SG3 (650nm) box will work, just need the bellhousing fabricated to suit.

    7000rpm = 279kmh

    7400rpm = 295 :br:

    Push it to 7600 and you hit 303 :br:[TIS]

    VQ six speed with the 3.69:1 would split the difference, another expensive addition though.

    Total ratios in top are 2.775 for a TT, 3.091 with 4.11:1 and 2.930 for six speed/3.69s.

    The six speed is close ratio so probably nice to have on circuits too.

    The issue id have with 6spd is the strength

    I feel even with 700rwhp if I even make that, that I'll max out 5th gear

    Need more than that to get across the line at 300Km/hr. Tristan's Capri just got over at 308km/hr and he's pushing 850hp at the wheels.

    Going to take a lot of moolah to get in that bracket with a setup that will take it and convert that HP to speed.

    Gave up on 300
    Already worked out that I'd need 800 odd rwhp to do that

    this likely is the last year I'll be doing this sort of event in the zed/competitively

    I just want to see what it can do.
    I'm hoping 270-280 @21.4-22.0

    more power at 73 -7400 isn't going give you more speed ,just get you there quicker .
    I hit 260+ down the straight at eastern creek in 5th around 7500rpm (from memory) gets there very quick . (have to back off end of road)

    Nah, not too much I don't reckon. Bit of machining, bit of welding, bit of measuring on the Holinger R32 GTR bellhousing, voila!

    Correct. I was quoting the theoretical top speed. Next you need a certain amount of torque to get you there within a set distance, in this case 1km.
