    To remove the P/ST pump?
Is it best to remove the radiator and cooling hoses to get to it? Any nasty surprises I have to look out for?
I had a quick look from underneath...removal seems easier from the front...?
    Thanks guys

No surprises, just remove cooling water hoses and air intake hose (na) and intercooler pipes if TT. Take off drive belt, disconnect hydraulic hose then unbolt PS pump

In my Na I just removed radiator shroud, left plenum air intake hose, and ps resorvoir then unbolted pipe to ps pump (big bolt on left of pump) then unbolted ps pump (from the front, don't forget the bolt you access through the hole in the pulley) then pull out it's piss easy.

Also piss easy to rebuild, a rebuild kit costs about $15 (mine had everything but a bearing) and a bearing worth about $3. It uses a really common type of bearing found also in pool pumps and can be sourced form most pool maintenance shops very easily.

I chucked some powerful neodymium magnets in the ps pump reservoir as the filtration pretty basic so hopefully it will pick up stray metal and slow down wear a little..... cheaper than a $40 filter with magnet in it...

Drain the reservoir first, then remove all upper hoses (intake, rad, etc), then stuff some rags into
the pipes to prevent anything falling inside, it is easier to manage the removal of the PS pump
with the radiator out, but it isn't necessary. Undo the pressure line from the pump itself,
next remove the two bolts holding the adjuster bracket, this should slacken the belt so you can align the
slot in the pulley with the pivot bolt, then undo the adjuster tensioner bolt and swing the adjuster down.
Remove the pivot bolt whilst supporting the pump and remove.
