Power Window (Drivers Side)

My driver's side power window seems to intermittantly refuse to work.

It usually happens after the car has been started. I just press the controls about a dozen times and it starts to work.

So far once it starts working, it seems to work perfectly up & down, until the next time i start the car, which could be as little as 5 mins.

At first we thought it was completely dead, So we unscrewed the panel and checked that the wires were in. Some time later it started working while I was trying to show someone that it was busted.

 

look in tech section the little black box is known for 1 connection breaking and it's as simple as re-soldering the conection mine done the same - worked now and then untill i found out why

Could also be dirty contacts in the switch. Fixing the little black box is pretty easy. You'll see very quickly where the problem solder joint is
