Just an fyi for those wanting zed fest in tas I have been semi planning a tour of tas I plan to do in my zed. My good friend Google tells me I can drive all the way around the state in 15 hours. I think he is full of crud and have accepted the challenge Lmao. But on a serious note I'm thinking maybe a 4 day drive / tour staying o/night at a few select unique locations. I've nearly got tassuperkart convinced he needs to come as well. I was thinking jan/Feb 2016 but it we have some interested interstate peeps it may be too close to zedfest for the win. And need to switch dates around to suit. If anyone is keen or slightly curious as to what to expect in our lovely twisty state shoot me a pm and if there is interest I'll set up a forum event. I know it's a fair way off still but prudent panning prevents pss poor performance Rob
Munted and I have been discussing this via PM and we may have something coming up in Easter 2015 (off year for ZedFest). The Nissan/Datsun Nationals are on in Qld in Easter 2015 and while too far for SA and Vic members to travel north, we might be putting something on in Tassie. Stay tuned to this space for more info. In the mean time Who would be interested in a Tassie Super Cruise ?
It's certainly an intriguing idea... My major issue is the ferry between the larger island upon which I live, and the smaller Apple Isle... As I'd be driving a lowered Zed, I'm told the nautical transition between the two islands would be rather... ... ... Problematic... :rofl: I hope you guys can get the numbers to make this happen...
