How do u ensure you get all the filings out and they don't block somewhere deeper?

do the porting before u send the things to the machine shop. In other words do this when the motor is out for a rebuild and has to be sent off to be chemically cleaned etc

so will this reduce temperature overall, or does it just help with correcting the poor coolant flow........

It would help with coolant flow, which would help the engine maintain its correct operating temp (if it couldn't before the porting)... but overall temp should still be controlled by the thermostat

yeah thas what i was trying to ask, operating temperature.....so that wont drop it will just be more consistant, right?

I would think so, it would keep temps more consistent and increase the cooling capability of the system...
