No they are different, these are the alloy water pipes that stick out the front of your timing covers.
The SFS top radiator hose you have bought goes from the top one of these pipes to your radiator.
The lower alloy rad pipe in the GB joins onto the lower one of these two pipes with one of the Gtaes elbows supplied with it.

    Hi highonboost,
I didnt fit mine myself, so I don't know exactly whats involved? Lots of the guys have them so hopefuly someone will jump in here and let you know.

Already having the radiator out would be an advantage Im sure :D .

    Caz.. :)

LOL, he's correct tho Lython :p

The balance pipe is steel :( . Its an ugly thing IMO so I left mine black so it can dissappear a little easier ( and I dont like chrome ;) )

I dont actually have a set of rocker covers. If I can get a set, yeah sure, no problem. I'll see if I can find some tomorrow.
I have no idea what they will cost to polish, but there is only one way to find out!

    Caz.. :)

could he polish all if not most of the engine if requested and if so how much would it set you back? By the way is that a gold finish or is it just the light, either way it looks awsome!!! .

    Hi WA300ZX,
No its not a gold finish, they are difficult to photograph with the flash as it just flares, so the gold is a result of no flash.

He does all sorts of parts on Rods, Showcars, Harleys, fuel cells, blowers, turbo's, intercooler and turbo piping, exhaust systems, wheels and anything else that is polishable.

He has been all over my Zed with a magnet to see whats up for polishing, he is yet to do my plenum, throttle bodies, rocker covers, exhaust and brake calipers.

I don't know pricing for the Zed bits he hasnt done yet, he isnt cheap but neither is the result. He even gets work sent to him from other polishers.

I bought a plenum, rocker covers and throttle bodies today that I will give to him to play with... I will be able to quote then.:)

    Caz.. :)

My plenum now has now balance pipe :) All welded up and will be done using hose in behind the firewall - all tricky to explain but I'm trying to put all the vacuum/boost hoses just inside the firewall.

Sounds very interesting Chewy, is the balance pipe in the regular position or is it behind the plenum?
Like I said in an earlier post I think its an ugly thing, Id like to replace it :)

I'll take some photos tonight for you. I think I still have my balance pipe that I've modified to clean it up by cutting all the vacuum hoses off it and where the air regulator outlet hose comes into it I've cut and welded in a AN threaded fitting there. I was going to get it HPC coated but then I decided to ditch it completely so I'll take a photo of it and see if you want to use it.
