Love the 2k bar, but, that mesh looks out of place. Anyone else agree?

mesh doesn't look too bad to me, would have to see a more front shot picture.
the mesh i used has bigger holes in it (lets fly's through).

I'm with you, the mesh looks wrong, but worse then that it is very restrictive. Bad for airflow.

maybe if you spray paint the mesh black or dark blue so it doesn't stand out so much? or does that defeat the point?

is it there for looks or is it there to protect the intercooler from stones and flies, etc?

Was thinking of painting the mesh black when i put it in, because i didn't want to to stand out to much. in the flesh its not to lairy. Theres no intercooler (N/A), thats why i had to put something there....to hide the hole...also why i was not to worried about the air flow. I would have liked something with a bit bigger hole thought but could only find this stuff...

It had "performace mesh" on the lable...hahaha should have seen the guys face at auto1 when i asked what kind of performance beneifits i could get from it...hahaha..

The bar came from ttzed.com its the 2000 spec bar. Its $650 + postage (including the indicators). I have to say that i was super happy with their service also. Spoke to them on the phone, paid by credit card through the website and it was at my house in not even 48 hours

    Lovin' it... :)

    Looks awesome mate.

Always loved the 2000 spec front. Suits the blue as well. :)

I have to say, you might be the only one impressed with TTZ. I think you might be the only person to actually receive something from them...half the battle is making contact with Simon. I gave up years ago....

Good luck with ya car. Shame on you for thinking of selling...!! ;)

    Cheers
    Rob.

Gotta like the 2K bar. It's on of the nicest around IMO.

Also, I think seeing the mesh is nice too. My N/A just after the bar was fitted.

Yup. I had some problems a year or so ago, but I believe Blondie has been handling the orders for the past few months. Service is restored. :)

Have heard nothing but good since then.

    Cheers,

Looks nice also! I want to get some spot lights to replace the indicators/parkers and hook up the indicators/parkers to the new lights that you change with the bar. Did you have them already (as i know some zeds do) or did you buy them from some where?
