    What did we do wrong?

I brought along an old work mate to this cruise as he has an orange 350Z

So impressed was he with the Z community that.....he's just traded for an HSV :(

Dunno mate...the more I observe the "bang for buck" (when talking about NEWish) cars that is) the more I think it's foolish to deny that Aussie Mussle is the way to go.

Sure back in the day it was true they couldn't go round corners but that's hardly true of the newer lines.

I'd be half tempted myself only the more I look at my plans for the 350, the more excited I get :D

dont get me wrong, the "aussie muscle" as you put it has its merits, but heres the truth of it..........they are based on a family car design first and foremost, so anything they do to improve the performance will always have been compromised first by that fact........
are they good cars? yes, in there own regard. are they sports cars? no, not in the way that a zed, or a supra, or a lamborghini is, because those cars were designed to be......wait for it.... a sports car(or super car lol), not a family car....thats my two cents anyway

how many zed owners do you see trading in their cars for a reliable family car?
lots, so why not go to something that is primarily a family car with a little bit of sportiness thrown in.
cheapish, stylish, parts easier to come by and dare i say it ,classy if you pirchase the right model.
I vote for the commonwhore to be the acceptable default family car when your zed becomes too small for your family.

if thats the way you think it should go, all power to you.....

anyway, this part of the thread is way of topic, if youd like to talk about the merits of zeds versus the commodores and falcons of the world, i think we should start a new thread.

Late model 350Z or nothing imho power wise

TVR Tuscan hey? Nice! They've been on my radar also. IF i ever have the money to do a Gumball Rally, I think the TVR Tuscan would be my weapon of choice
