its in the aza assist thread, but the total amount raised by the WA zedders yesterday was $103.55 .........so very good indeed.....as i mentioned me and my mother aslo chipped in so we donated a good amount this morning!
ok dokey lol.... so its fix car then :br: to see if it works but if it doesnt, followed by more fixing then hopefully:zlove:.....correct?
Oh - kinda "post event" related... Got in the car this morning to drive to Perth and needed fuel. So, stopped at servo, filled the tank, then drove off. Could smell fuel - nah, just the smell from the servo. could still smell fuel after about 1 Km. Hmmmm. Pulled over just past the train station on Safety Bay road and popped the bonnet. HOLY CRAP!!! A Full pressure jet of fuel is trying to force it's way through my bonnet! Dropped bonnet, grabbed extinguisher, lifted bonnet again. Hmmm no flames - that's a GOOD thing. Long story short - front strut brace rubbing on fuel line has caused it to weaken, thus allowing a 5 mm crack to develop on the fuel line after the filter. So, after getting EFI hose and tools from my place, some CRC and degreaser from Bunnings (at 7:00 AM), then standing in the rain repairing said fuel line, I finally got to work 2 hours late. But the baby is now 100% ok, and I have restored balance in the zed universe. Morl of the story: Don't host a tech day and neglect your baby - she will get jealous and (try to) ruin your day. :zlove: Edit: What pressure is standard for NA and TT out of the pump?
40PSI at idle, can't remember if it's meant to stay solidly at 40 throughout the rev range or rise ad the revs do, someone will know...
That would be rite, I got up feeling better today. Looks like I missed a great weekend. Go Dave. Mind you if spread this flu about I wouldn't be too popular. See you guys at the cruise.
uh oh I think I had too good a weekend . I've gone and committed to buying another Zed Any way it looks like I may have to clean my place and Shed up for a Tech day sooner than I thought . More Details to follow when I work out what's happening :zlove: Andy
Correct. However recommended set pressure on adjustable FPR 45psi with no vac hose connected. Read somewhere in tt.net.
No probs No worries mate, Not too sure whats happening yet, should get the car end of this week hopefully and then it will be all on. Will keep you posted mate
Andy, I'll be there of course. Maybe you should just come up and get it out of my workshop wednesday?
