Started to paint my Z at long last.
As most people know I started to add the wide body kit to my car some time ago.
And as im on a shoe string budget I had to take my time doing it.
So with all the work done myself I have saved thousands.
So in all it has cost me about 1k to get it this far not including the new wheels that are coming.

More pics to came as I do the last few panels in paint and the new wheels to go on.

So from the time I got my car until now.
I had to make my own fake spray both as I can't get the car in my Dad's Garage (guards to wide)lol
So a tarp from the house to the fence had to do.

As you can see everything come of so I was temped to change the colour but I didn't.
So it was a full respray less engine bay.
    But that might be next.
So all is left is to do hatch, doors and mirrors.
    Targa's are done.
I have taken the hatch window tub out and gone back to stock window.
Shaved the front indicators and hatch wiper arm.
One piece front bar and nose panel to get rid of the body line.
One piece rear guards, back bar, sides skirts and front guards.
Was going to shave door handles as I have door poppers but changed my mine even though I installed emergency release cable to get into the car if all else fails.

Great work Dave. You've copped some flak on here for some considerable time, but there is no doubting your enthusiasm and determination to roll up your sleeves and get to work.

I think you've made a good decision by dumping the other hatch, and I can't wait to see the completed project.
You're in the "home stretch" now, keep up the good work Mate.

    the rear wheels

are 315 12"x18 +7 and when I brought them they only had 275 tires on them.
So im trying to sell these tires.
So the rear wheels don't need spacers they just look a little small because the tires are 5 sizes to small for the rim.
And I don't drive it like this.

So I am buying 315 tires to solve the problem.

Nice those rear wheels are insane, I thought about buying them in the ffs thread but they were to wide for me :p

Looks very nice mate stock hatch looks better then the other hatch imo, all up one very nice unique lookin car :D

    rear wheels are 3 piece

so I can always pull them apart and turn them around and have the back sleeves chromed.
