    Out with the old K & N pod filter & in with the new A3 pod filter! :D

    A3 pod filter is only about 5mm longer than K & N so too bad.

    you are aware that k+n filters are washable right!! would have come up good as new !!

    Yes , l know they are washable , l think you wash them with some kind of oil , and l've heard that the zeds dont like the oil , l was told that the dry filters are better , oh well all done now , so time to take the z and the girl friend for a cruise .. later zenx . p.s

    I'm still not convinced. No testing was done over a long period of time. Anyway, oiled filters are illegal and have to be serviced properly to work properly. I'll stick with my Apexi's.

    Thanks beaver, had a quick look at it but is MUCH TOO TECHNICAL for me....lol. I dont have a problem with K & N filters just that i have been told that the A3 are better....
    In all honestly, i just got back from a cruise with the girls (My Z & girlfriend...lol) went from tarneit to Jan Juc and car ran sweet so i have got no probs with the changeover...,.

    ps. we had a lovely romantic lunch at the beach (torquay)..... pie & coke....hehehehhehe :zlove:

    pss. bought my other "gal" a gift as well...high octane petrol.... (g/friend is shitty cause cost more for petrol than lunch...lol)

    ppss. to all you "Z" peoples - would have been the "perfect" day for GOR cruise today.... :)

    i got my 3A filter fitted yesterday as well thanks to Jinxed..they are awsome filters..

    isn't that 3A filter an oil type, exactly the same as the K&N? I had a 3A one on my old zed, which looked identical to that, with the same box.. and it was an oil type too..
