Oops sorry I mean Operation V shaped sub box with 2 12" subs. sorry But I did make you look. Now that my car is finished outside I can start the inside. I have started to make a V shaped sub box that will have 2 12" chrome reversed mounted subs,2 chrome Amps and 2 chrome covers on 6x9's. Yes its a bling for the hatch area. Cardboard template. Wooden patten. I changed the back on the frame with a angle to suit the hatch when its closed. Sealed the unit so I can now make a mould as I will be making it from a combo of fibre glass and MDF. So once I have made it there will be no carpet or covering on it the finish will be shinny black gelcoat and chrome hardware. I remember seeing a thread with a ZX that had a V shape sub box but I can't find it. And that is what gave me the idea to do the V shape with chrome hardware.
Dave I so badly want you to produce a sub box that moulds into each rear corner of the boot that fits a 10". OZ-300 has the best one I've seen to date. Something that fits in each corner without the trim piece so when it's fitted, it takes up minimal space and looks like it was always meant to be there.
Corner Sub boxes I would make you a set if I had the exact measurements of the hole that is needed to fit a 10" sub as I don't have a 10" sub. And I though a member was already making these corner subs and I don't wont to tread on there toes buy making a item that a member is already selling.

Dave corner mounts would be great... It could be another Gonzo item I can add to the Z... :thumbup: Peter was the one doing them but he left a few high and dry... And his last GB EOI went nowhere....
Not to mention the ones he was doing were wood and very boring square edges with the sub facing directly up. OZ-300's is the best I have seen in a Z period!
Cant say these are not one of the best designed sub box's for a zed... would these be much of a challenge gonzo? i'd say they'd sell pretty well here.
If a 10" corner sub box is being made for a 2+0 I'm up for one. Will be easier than working out how to hold my funny shaped one down

not bad looking good so far. keep the pics updated this could be an interesting bling filled boot. p.s if you actually did do the corner mount boxes you could guarentee you'd have many buyers for that... ud pretty much take all the business of people wanting a sub box for the zed
Corner subs Yes I will have ago at making some corner sub boxes as soon as I finish mine. I would to do 10's and 12's. But a 2+0 could be a problem as I don't have one to or access to one to make up a template. Some more pics of ideas would be good to give me some ideas. And I would not be doing boring wooden edges.
I would also be very interested Something like this would be great... ...as I currently have this in my boot. Great sound, but not much room left!
I do like this...makes me think. As i have 4x 8" subs to make use off... was this particular one another members creation? Is the design able to be copied if i make some....maybe...
