Not only that .... but it "is for sale elsewhere" and he reserves the right to take it off ebay if it "sells" elsewhere . Alternatively if it doesn't go near what he's looking for, he gets a mate to make a "bid" taking the car to an artificial level, and sees where it goes from there. I'm 100% positive I've suffered this before, and it happens because ebay Australia doesn't allow reserves. Quote from the ad: "This is the ultimate show car" .... Ummmmmmmmm not really! (Engine bay, seats). If it's genuine with all intent to sell without price fixing or pulling early then I unreservedly apologize.
Can i ask what is so good about it?? Its very stock to me... If it is such a great showcar then why does the leather have cracks in it?? Engine bay no bling nothing at all... Its as stock as mine...

Yeah, crappy engine bay for the "ultimate show car" And I don't see any evidence of a "custom leather interior" everything is stock. It's really a performance Z with a decent sound system.
Low starting prices are generally considered a good marketing strategy. Consider the 99c no reserve stuff that ebay pushes. Someone sees something cool for 99c and bids on it. Next person bids etc etc. Before long you have 100 people watching and all competing to be the winning bidder rather than 5.

Interesting that the description says it has air bags when the aftermarket steering wheel has no built in air bag. You would think that there would be some policing of this false advertising. And I doubt it has tilt steering either.
That car was on carsales or somethin a couple of months back going for about $10K if i remember, was considering buying it but thought it looked a bit dodgy
OKAY...pretty much this car is packed coz i know the guy, but its not worth it unless you are prepared to pull all the visual mods to pass it over pits....hence the cheap price....it cannot get rego until it passes the pits..... enough said by me.....but im sure with all those mods its worth it if you got time....it would look alot nicer if the colour was different
