Hey does anyone in Perth close to the hills have a socket to remove the )2 sensors? I have two new ones to drop in and presume you need a slotted socket! I will even travel to borrow it.
The first trick in removing O2 sensors is several major soaks with Inox ..... For easy access to the sensor base, i made up a soaking tool .... a plastic funnel inserted into a metre long piece of flexible copper tubing .... makes it very easy to target the base. ... just rest the tube on the base and spray the Inox into the funnel. When starting up the car between soaks, be ready for heaps of smoke pouring out of the engine bay .... Servo owners are not keen on this .. do not ask me how I know .. !!! there should be some threads/posts on this from about 5-6 years ago ....
