WA "Northwards and Onwards" cruise

Well, just got home 15 minutes ago and my god, what a day!!!:thumbup:

Im very pleased to be able to say there was another strong turnout of 36 cars, despite the weather being a little on the chili side.....no rain thankfully(but a few little showers) made it good cool weather for the cars to drive in, and there are no accidents or broken dwon zeds to report......:zlove:

big kudos to awegazm, who has just finished a marathon week long engine transfer to be with us today, well done to him!!

there were heaps of people with cameras and video recorders out today so there should be photos and videos before to long, get them up!

again thanks to everyone for coming along, and looking forward to the next one!:thumbup:

 

ya of course..it was an awsome cruise..was annoyed to be left back at the second leg..came to the car after a bit of Red Rooster and no one was there..haha..but joined everyone at the other park..lol

haha sorry mate, thought everyone was back lol......

had to leave in a bit of a hurry cause the v8 club in front of us left in a bit of a uncivilized way lol, so i was a touch worried we may get police attention.....

we had heaps of cars for the day in the end, so i was pretty happy with the turn out!! cool cars everywhere!.....

now, to start thinking about the next event .........:thumbup:

I must also thank Adam and Josh (my wifes Nephews) for tagging along as my camera crew. They've taken some excellent snaps which I will post up later.

Re people expecting to be interviewed, the lighting with crap weather, + the wind noise and other ambient noises didn't really make it worth it imho.

I'm thinking we may do them in a more intimate setting such as a BBQ some time

So for now, still no "documentary" although today will certainly supply footage toward that final goal. But I will just throw up a quick "cruise edit" as soon as I can. Just a quick one this time as I want to save the "effort" for the doco.

...oh and thanks to my Zed for behaving, and finally starting to come through as an awesome car. Even after the 370Z test drive, I was just sooo happy to be in my Zed LOVE IT! (Even if it did remind me it NEEDS a new clutch)

 

He is really pro. and the camera takes awesome pics. But need more.....

 

i just hope everyone enjoyed it as much as possible, i spent alot of time trying to make that cruise perfect, and while even i will admit it had its short falling, i think it was pretty good(if i do so say so myself) lol.....

sorry to those of you who went to the boat instead of the indy at the last stop, there was literally a last minute change of pub lol.....

anyway, thanks everyone for coming and for those of you taking photos and recording, thanks for the extra effort youve put in.......ugame we will get those interviews at the first bbq/tech day available so the docu can continue hehe

Shame about the weather, but the lack of incident (police and accident) made for an enjoyable time. Good to see some old faces and look forward to seeing plenty of faces on th Weir cruise in October

We had a good time, thanks ross for another great cruise. Reminiscent of the big cruise a few years back. Someone got us wicked lost though. That's what you get when you follow the pack instead of looking at our instructions I guess. Then half the pack gunned it, I was struggling to keep up to that green S14. Besides that, it was a good day out.
