Does anyone on here play with Nistune? I have a used TT auto ECU with a Nistune board already installed, but no history on the tune. I'm after somebody to load in the factory manual tune, but altered just to suit nismo 555 injectors. Thanks
Take the auto Nistune board/ECU to someone who can remove it and load a base manual tune on the Nistune board and have it fitted to your manual ECU. One of these guys: http://www.nistune.com/ordering-distributors.php You could probably mail to Nistune and they will do it for a price. You can then buy from CZP/Z1/Ashspec a "starter" tune/ROM/chip for a manual 555 and load it onto the manual ECU if you have Nistune by fitting the chip to the socketed ECU, download an image, refit Nistune board and upload it. An ECU fitted with NIStune can be interchanged between a manual or an automatic. It doesn't matter whether the ECU was originally designed for an automatic or a manual, with NIStune fitted, the ECU can be adjusted to suit either application. The logical thing to do would be to get the ECU tuned to your engine modifications on a dyno.
I have installed Nistune in both my Z32 and Z31 along with wideband sensors. Also purchased the Nistune Software and have spent many hours achieving what I consider optimal AFR 's right across rev range. Have many Bin files including Factory maps The Nistune Software Licence I purchased only extends to 3 cars and I would need to extend this. However, if you already have the Nistune daughter board installed map adjustment for 555 injectors would only take a couple of minutes. PM me if you are interested.
