Ok I got all that I was going to buy Nistune soon and thought I should have Ecutalk as well The more I read about Nistune I began to wonder why I need Ecutalk Ecutalk has its own screen and can be hooked up permanetly and works as soon as the key turns on I assume - I get that Nistune will need a PC of some kind and yes will have more fuctions and features Do they both hook up to the consult port only ? No other wires - splicing required Yes Ecutalk will require +ve and light wires and earths Thanks
ECU Talk Display does not require any wiring or spicing. It is powered directly from the DDL (Consult) port. It is illuminated whenever it is powered on.
Having a nistuned ecu and running an ecu talk screen mean more crap on your screen. ecu talk cable is just for tuning or pc based programs. nistune+ecutalk display ftw
