    Need to find sensors now...

    I'm thinking boost, fuel pressure, oil temp, oil pressure, intake temp.

    What else? EGT?

    This video helped me understand what this data acquisition board could do. Or should I say how it should work with nistune.

    Am I right in thinking where this bloke is using nistune to read his separate wideband input ( about 1.31 is where he is talking about his wideband ) we would have data from the data board input showing? I understand I would need lookup tables for the relevant sensor. If yes, I am in.

    Off to find out about stoic settings and widebands... the geek in me is having fun.

    for me AFR/boost/EGT (timing/nitrous)/Fuel pressure (enough pump),intake temp

    these lookup tables sound like a bitch. hope somone has some for sensors so it can be a copy and paste job.

    Here's a good start. Have to check the pricing.

    Run the aem 0-150 psig sensor for the fuel pressure. The voltage vs pressure chart should look like this:

    Voltage: Pressure:
    0.5 0.0
    1.00 18.80
    1.50 37.50
    2.00 56.30
    2.50 75.00
    3.00 93.80
    3.50 112.5
    4.00 131.3
    4.50 150.0

    the supplier will do for $28.18 US + $30US delivered to me, in Aus.

    So this is cheaper than their advertised price, even taking shipping into account ;)

    BUT we need 30!

    Waiting for updated price on lesser volume...

    Free shipping was at the rrp. Since we are getting discounted price, shipping is charged. You do the maths ;)

    Eric is looking at some high quality sensors and pricings atm, including map and air temp, oil pressure and temp, fuel pressure and temp. Single sensors that give 2 outputs.

    He also has all the voltage to unit conversion tables for them :)


    Get the numbers in guys.
