So bummed I missed out on this. Engine is taking longer than expected but next year I'll make it to the big one.
Just woken up! wow it's going to take me forever to get over this one... Party central was spectacular!!! Thanks again! got to the kaos house of fun for hosting such a huge event! Mammories!! that come to mind... * Vaguely remembering some things that happened on friday night and then feeling/looking like death until tucking into the bourban again once more on sat night * I 'F@@kn' need you tonight!!!! etc. (Never knew there was a death metal version?- there is now!) Thanks to Andymac for supplying the tunes and improvising http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIRiZsDObrU * Sean aka Fate. Will this boy ever learn how to say 'no'? Especially to guys in 4WD's trying to pick him up! * Terrorising the Motel across the road in the early hours... Cam(sticky) and i were the last guys standing on fri and sun nights, in true drunken fashion we tried very hard to make most people aware that we were still awake - and VERY drunk * Was this a car club meeting? i only remember drinking and partying? That's all for now as i'm still partially pickled, jumbled memories...
ALL HAIL ... to Queen Kristy and King Kaos ... congratulations and many, many thanks for providing such a brilliant venue to launch and carry the long, long weekend .....!!!! .. such a top time, filled with mammaries, mammaries and more mammaries ..... .. and thanks to all for contributing to a superb few days ... simply magic ....
I F**kING NEED YOU TONIGHT!!! Yes it was a rendition to make Bonnie Tyler proud. Great weekend guys, really was, shame we couldn't make it to the infamous Chardy Shack, I will get there one day, I'll even headline the event with Benny and R33K. Haylz and I made it home safe at 8pm tonight. Wet trip home, but Captain Thunderbolt provided with an empty and reletively dry stretch between Armidale and Raymond Terrace to shave off some time.
Quite possibly the best weekend i've ever had!!! Firstly a massive mammory thanks to Kaos and Ultimate Kaos (Craig and Kristy) for putting up with our "after hours" events at the house of Kaos and cleaning up after us. You guys are fantastic as always I cannot possibly go into the detail that i'd like to on the keyboard about each and everyone that i've had the privledge of spending time with over the weekend. But all i can say is that it's something that i'll never forget and that these people are the best people that i've met. So much entertainment, I was quite overwhelmed the whole weekend and loved it to bits. Can't wait till the next event! I hear there's going to be the annual QLD Gympie sleepover weekend coming up later this year at the Pexzed property that is attracting interstate members aswell, so that shows how much our southern members enjoyed the QLD Zed events. 571CKY, you always crack me up to no end mate. you've got great photography skills aswell mate. i'm looking forward to purchasing your HI-RES photo DVD off you at the Chardy Shack. And a huge thanks to Cara and Magicmike for putting up with all us drunken, noisy room mates and cooking breakfast for us. Cara, you are the BEST! :zlove: Now in withdrawls big time, wishing i was reliving the weekend again already. At least we still have the Chardy Shack to look forward to tomorrow night, but that's going to be it then. *sob, sob* Until next time folks! :zlove:
Home safe 11 hour run, one stop at Tamworth for some fuel and a bite to eat came via the putty rd from singleton, didn't enjoy the fog and rain though. Great weekend, had a ball, thanks to k-Zed for picking up a targa top for me after a rock destroyed mine, Thanks to Angry bear for loaning me his one so i could get through scrutineering and have some track time before k-zed arrived with the replacement. thanks to chili for getting getting the glass splinters in his fingers when taping up the broken one on the side of the road. Thanks to Kristy and Craig for opening up their house to us all great to catch up with everyone. Enjoyed the Track time with a best lap of 1.15.31, and a 3 lap dash of 3.51.1, good to see the seven Z32's in our group remained reliable all day till RZM's expired in the last session. will post some pics tomorrow
what an awesome weekend.... was good to finally put faces to names. the cruise we went on on sunday was the best one i have ever been on. never driven the car so hard and it loved it. the show and shine was great. some really imac cars there and the track days were great. some monster cars there. the trip home was meh, it rained so hard. while following reek the vert decided to aqua plane for a breif second....stupid new high way. who puts a sharp dip and turn in an 80 zone
we dont know...it wont turn over...happened on the last lap of his last race...i feel sorry for the poor guy im sure he will explain when he returns home
It was great to put some more faces to more names. What a great mob 300zx'ers are. It was also good to see a couple more convertibles in the flesh. Mine leaks a bit around the drivers side window, but the other 2 seemed to hold tight. There were lots of awesome machines there, not only z32's. It's amazing how fast some of the old ones are Here are some pics Chili taping up Wizards T-Top Caz in full flight Wiz Wykked Mikey
Sprint results and things. Firstly, there is no timing system installed at Morgan Park, all timing had to be done by hand which was not a good situation for the organisers or the participants. To get a timing system in for the day was cost prohibitive. Incidentially, MP was the only circuit available in Q at the time of booking a couple of years ago. Secondly, on the R34, its my understanding that the he was chipped for 'drifting' which can be considered dangerous driving at a sprint meeting, its a fine line. But he was not excluded from the results, I can find out more if required. Glad to see that generally everyone enjoyed themselves and want to do the next one in two years time, which sounds like it will be at Wakefield Park. I'm sure that the Sydney club will appreciate assistance at the time to run it, Nationals are a huge undertaking for clubs to run, all done by members in their spare time.
Looks like everyone had a fantastic time!!! Wish I could have made it.. Does anyone know the exact place of the 2011 Nationals? I've read a few mentions of Armidale
