So my 350z got lifted and some bastard stole my rear Brembos,they didnt get the front ones though.Anyway I sorted things out with the insurace company and they told me to go to Nissaan and get some new ones after approx 10 mins in the Nissan dealership guess what Nissan Australia dont have any and guess what else Nissan Japan dont have any either,so we ve got a problem, apparently Nissan japan have had contract problems and Brembo in Italy and wont supply them with anymore,so at the end of the day Nissan are screwed because they have to supply parts for ten years,so Nissan then told me they were going to start taking parts off any new Nissans with Brembos that havent sold to supply me and whom ever else needs them.Now Nissan are starting the production of the new GTR but this car has Brembos,it seems to me that Nissan have one big problem.
Sorry to hear about that Paul... It's still happening all to often. I'd love to steel the ability for thevies to reproduce . That's a bit of a worry about the Nissan/Brembo saga... hopefully it can be sorted
great alarm system or tell nissan to put a half decent alarm on the 350 z,couldnt lift mine without half of melbourne knowing ! sorry to hear they got knocked
Makes you wonder if some other 350 owner with buggered rear calipers discovered this problem with brembo before you? Anyway, thieving bastards need some appendages removed. Did they do any other damage to your zed?
brembos Gazza There was no other damage but it just pisses me off when JACK ASSES come along and take whats yours. Anyway got onto the US last night and the whole deal with the Brembos is world wide apparently,and get this there is only 2 rear calipers available,one here and one in the US,HHMM makes you wonder dosent it. cheers Paul
that really is weird, ive never heard of someone ripping off rear callipers, did they also steal your wheels, although they are brembos rear callipers really arnt worth much at all .. bad luck ....
theres no chance the dealer you bought it off did some dodge deal on it? as in they had an issue with ur stock calipers and slapped another set of just to sell the car which happened to be the model up or down and thus there is no record of ur car coming with them.... at all maybe?
Man that is a really bad situation. You might have to hit nissan up for some tamper proof bolts for all your calipers so they cant be pinched if thats the situation they have 350 owners in
