    Results.

Ok so on the way to Geelong from Melbourne, which is around 1h20mins away, I recorded a steady 84-88 in the city and 86 constant on the freeway.
After modding my viscous clutch (new viscous oil) my temperatures dropped to *just* kissing 84, mostly 83 on the freeway, but around town was the most surprising. My temps have gone down to 80, with a maximum of 84 seen going up long hills in 3rd, immediately dropping back when flattening out and cruising.

Best $130 I ever spent. Go see Bryan (Brytech) at the Zed Shed and get it done befor summer, trust me.

    Elie.

i dont understand why people mess around with 2nd hand cluthc fans, on these cars it is one of the most important cooling system compontents.

Do the right thing by your car and buy a brand new OEM clutch. With the amoutn of money you guys would be spending on fuel, tyres and mods 250 bucks or what ever it is is not a big expense.

Well it's only labour really Chad, 3 hours worth, plus he also gave me half a meter of vac hose and fixed a boost leak and didn't even mention it, oh and a new fan as mine had cracks in it...

So yes thats all that was done, and it makes a huge difference! Better than $250 odd plus labour on a new item for the exact same results...
